Earth Day March
SFVS is leading the 2nd annual Vegan Earth Day March on Sunday, April 21, on Golden Gate Bridge. Please join us and invite your friends and family!
Animal agriculture is one of the planet's most destructive and harmful industries. Numerous published studies show that meat and dairy production and consumption are a driving force behind our deadly ecological crisis. We must act now to ensure the survival of our species and everyone else who shares this planet with us.
Be part of this historic day of action as we join with cities all over the world to collectively demand a societal vegan paradigm shift that normalizes non-violence, sustainability, and collective liberation for all Earthlings through the immediate development and transition to a plant-based veganic food system.
March details:
Meet at the Golden Gate Welcome Center at 11 am to pick up supplies. Activists will march single file onto the bridge holding posters and handing out fliers. Please wear a shirt with a vegan or environmental message. It gets quite windy on the bridge so make sure to wear layers.
Please RSVP on the Facebook event page or via email.

Rowdy Girl showcases the inspiring work of an animal activist who has been on both sides and proves that there is a common ground between farmers and vegans - a shared mission of compassion and sustainability. Rowdy Girl Sanctuary Founder and Executive Director Renee King-Sonnen will be joining us for a Q&A session following the screening.
